Happy as a LARC: Long-Acting Reversible Contraception in Adolescents
Join Assistant Professor Beth Schwartz, MD, Residency ’12, along with alumni and post-graduate alumni, for an exclusive OB/GYN CME program* exploring the use, considerations, and benefits of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception in Adolescents (LARC).

Dr. Schwartz will discuss how to counsel adolescents about both the contraceptive and non-contraceptive benefits of LARC methods, demonstrate how to understand and be able to manage common LARC side effects, and identify special considerations for LARC insertion and use in adolescents.

Following the program, join William Schlaff, MD, the Paul and Eloise Bowers Professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and fellow Jefferson alumni and post-graduate alumni for a casual, virtual cocktail hour during which you’ll catch up with friends and reconnect with faculty.
