Michael J. Barnish, DO
Michael Barnish, DO, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Chicago in 1985, completed his residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, N.J., and fellowship at Buffalo General in Buffalo, N.Y. Dr. Barnish has been a part of Jefferson Health since it merged with the Kennedy University Hospital system in 2017. Before joining Jefferson, he served as an Infectious Disease Specialist and Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at Kennedy. Dr. Barnish is certified in healthcare leadership and management, travel health, clinical tropical medicine, internal medicine, and infectious diseases. He currently practices as a physician for Jefferson Health in New Jersey at the Turnersville, Voorhees, and Sewell locations.
