Michael Zimmerman, BS ’98, CEPA

Michael Zimmerman began his career as a medicinal chemist with GlaxoSmithKline in oncology research. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Finance from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in 1998 and a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Texas. Zimmerman’s areas of specialty include financial, investment, retirement, and estate planning, with an emphasis on risk management and tax efficiency. He earned the designation of Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and has completed coursework in retirement-income planning, legacy planning, and Social Security planning. He has received award recognition for his professional advisory efforts including being named as a Top 10 Wealth Manager in Central Pennsylvania by Central Penn Business Journal, being featured on the cover of Proactive Advisor Magazine in 2014 and 2019, and being named to Central Penn's “40 Under 40” in 2015.
Lisa Repko, JD
Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Planned Giving @Thomas Jefferson University
Lisa Repko, JD, has 20 years of experience as a fundraising professional. She began her career at the Dickinson School of Law of Pennsylvania State University, where she received her law degree and served as the director of annual giving. Prior to Jefferson, she was the director of development at Doylestown Hospital.
Kathy Sarlson
Assistant Vice President of Planned Giving @Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health
Kathy Sarlson joined Jefferson in 2016. She has held fundraising positions for over 25 years, with several institutions including Federation Housing, Inc., Einstein Healthcare Network, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Kathy earned a Bachelor of Arts in religion from the University of Michigan, a Master of theological studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
