Workout Wednesdays: Pilates with Beth Grutzmacher
Back by popular demand! Join us online for a new installment of Workout Wednesdays this October.

You asked and we listened. You’ll see remixed versions of some of the most requested workout styles and instructors along with some brand new techniques to help you get and stay fit this fall!

Each workout requires little to no equipment and may be done from the comfort of your home or office.

Jefferson fitness instructor Beth Grutzmacher leads a Pilates session where you will stretch your core and your upper and lower body for a great at-home workout.

Beth Grutzmacher has been a member of the Thomas Jefferson University Wellness staff for the last six years, teaching weekly Pilates, Barre, and bands classes. She has been dancing most of her life, beginning her training at the DeFino School in Philadelphia. She later received a BS in Dance Education from New York University. Ms. Grutzmacher has worked with renowned choreographers including Colin Connor (Jose Limon Co.), Doug Elkins, and Kevin Mahoney (Merce Cunningham). Upon returning to Philadelphia in 2004, she began working with the Golden Wings Theater Co. at Council Rock South High School, choreographing their productions of “Bye, Bye, Birdie,” “Oklahoma,” and “Little Shop of Horrors.” Ms. Grutzmacher also teaches fifth grade ESOL at the Solis-Cohen Elementary School in Philadelphia.
