Assistant Professor, Dermatology & Director, Teledermatology @Thomas Jefferson University
Originally from Orwigsburg, Pa., Elizabeth Jones, MD, earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and English from Bucknell University and her medical degree in the Thomas Jefferson University Class of 2013 where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Dr. Jones went on to complete her residency and served as Chief Resident in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology in 2017. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Dermatology and Director of Teledermatology at Jefferson and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Outside of work, Dr. Jones is a proud mother of two boys, ages 3 and 1, and enjoys photography, hiking, reading, exploring local parks, and supporting the military community through community service and fundraising.
