The Secret Psychology of Pets: Finding Calm Amidst Anxiety
Are there things you can do to help your four-legged friends as you return to the office? How will they—and you—handle being away from each other again?

Navigating your re-entry into a routine and activities outside of the home may bring on feelings of anxiety and frustrations, not just for you, but the pets who have been by your side, day in and day out, throughout the past year and a half.

In an exclusive online talk for Jefferson, Textile, and Philadelphia University alumni, certified professional dog trainer Magda Kornacka, MFT ’16, PDT will provide you with the helpful advice that could help ease your fears.

Ms. Kornacka explores some of the origins of anxious behaviors in animals, how to identify them within your own pets, and how to work towards easing their stress around departures and periods of solitude. Additional resources and support will be provided for follow-up work.

A Q&A follows the program.
